Association for Sport of the Disabled of Slovenia – Slovenian Paralympic Committee (ŠIS-SPK Association) was founded with the aim of creating a favorable environment for the development of sports for the disabled in Slovenia, for the inclusion of people with disabilities in sports activities and the development of mass and top-class sports for the disabled. The association also takes care of appropriately placing disabled sports in the broader social and sporting environment.

Our mission is to improve the status of athletes and sports for disabled people and the accessibility of sports programs as well as adapted training facilities. We want to set up an integration structure that people with disabilities could enter, be they recreationally or competitively, children or the elderly, men or women, regardless of the level of disability. Sport is a bridge of socialization between disabled and non-disabled people in society.

We are driven by our mission to spread awareness of sports’ potential as a tool for a healthier life for disabled children. Our team strives to create detailed educational resources and high-quality tools, making the implementation of training activities easier for them. We work on establishing comprehensive educational content related to physical health and nutrition that is tailored to people with special needs. The volunteers in our team are content creators, experienced trainers, and other professionals who assist in projects, campaigns, and our educational content base to grow.
